Stadtcafe Alja - Reservar uma mesa

We tried to sit and have a nice coffee and a piece of cake. The waiter not only forgot the cake, but also was extremely rude when we remember her about it. They do not accept credit cards, they asked me to cross the street...go to an ATM and get cash!. AMAZING. There many places in that street to sit down for a coffee, all of them offer more or less the same. Avoid this one. The service is extremly bad.

Gute kaffe was the recommendation by a local on a cold, literally freezing, February day wandering around Hamelin; and so it proved. indeed a warm and welcoming place. We had coffee, excellent; and a light lunch, all reasonably priced for It was full...of locals chatting over coffee and cakes.

Nice location near centre of the town, nicely decorated to be be similar to Austrian Coffee/cake house. Busy with locals which is always a good thing. We enjoyed the hot chocolates which were very welcome on a cold snowy day but felt let down by...the microwaved strudel and sauce

Found by accident, the server Asla a charming dark haired lady who spoke good English), was attentive and efficient. The food was very good and looked as good as tasted. We plan to return on our next visit to Hameln.

Operation very nice and friendly. The prices are also good. I like the ambience. The cake is very delicious and always fresh. Plenty of food, snaks and ice cream.
