St George Pub - Reservar uma mesa

We have not been to this restaurant in years. Unfortunately, it has really gone down hill. They used to have good food and excellent service, this was not the case on a Wednesday night when we came with another couple. We ordered appetizers, the bruschetta tasted like onions only and had no cheese on it. The crispy shrimp with Thai sauce was very sad looking, it had 7 very tiny shrimp spread over a sad limp piece of lettuce. My husband had the Philly cheese steak melt sandwich which had very little cheese on it. I had the chicken curry which was so dry and lacked curry flavour. Our friends had the big George's haddock and chips, which tasted like it was frozen and the coleslaw came in a tiny cup that was one fork full!! Our other friend had a blue cheese burger which had a few crumbles of blue cheese on it!! The food was terrible for the prices. We received half our dinners before we had a chance to finish our appetizers. The waitress was rude and mostly ignored us. Truly sad, I used love coming to this restaurant! They lost our business!

As a resident of Georgetown, I have to recommend the St. George for both locals and visitors alike. The staff are excellent and they always make you feel very welcome!!.The food is consistent and there is a lovely variety of classic pub fare. It is a great place for friends, family and co-workers to gather, dine and enjoy a pint in a friendly and traditional pub like atmosphere.

After taking in the local Canada Day parade decided to go here for lunch. Highly recommend the Bangers & mash....Nice portion size and well priced at $11.99. Service was good even thought they were extremely busy. Will be going back.

wing night is worth it. the fish n chips are great the naked chips also.. huge nacho servings but a little scarce on the toppings.
