Spielmanns Alte Ziegelei

The old brickwork was reopened in early December 2018 under the name “Alte Ziegelei da Rosanna” under new direction. Rosanna, a great hostess opened the restaurant with an absolute focus from Italian cuisine. Many guests will be known to Rosanna from the nearby Ristorante “La Casa” and therefore it is certainly not a surprise that quality is fantastic. Unfortunately, you cannot change the name of the restaurant under the Tripadvisor app and refer to the new much better cuisine. At any rate, we are very enthusiastic about the dishes offered and extremely happy that there is now another very high-quality alternative to the also exemplary “La Casa” in Großostheim Niedernberg. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful, tasteful and cozy furnishings as the first impression. Friendly service that brings things to the point and doesn't ask every five minutes if everything is okay. A little lard and bread on the way. The goose bump is crispy and tasty, the sauce fits perfectly and is plentiful what you can not claim anywhere, the red herb sounds excellent. A cellar beer or two, in the end an espresso and it was worth it all around. To all those who install the service here... it can also be an art to save the guest the eternal small talk and let him enjoy; simply focus on the essentials of the service.

With a new tour through Timo and Olga Schmitt, guests can enjoy a lucullic restaurant. A clear menu of food and drinks promises fresh and typical cuisine. Everything very delicious and lovingly prepared. The price level is appropriate. Whether fish or meat (steak or geese), everyone finds something here. The vegetarian is also spoiled. In the guest room you sit very well. There are many parking spaces in front of the house. The reservation will be displayed.

I was in front of a closed door today. I'd like to try, but the store was just closed. Since no menu card was available outside and no light burned anywhere, the suspicion that the restaurant is no longer open for a long time. Too bad that was not given better info.

Very nice restaurant, tastefully decorated. The menu is presented at the table. Read out selection of dishes that are tastefully and with great attention to detail. The service staff is very courteous and friendly.
