Oh em gee, this place is a gem! Excellent food, unique modern dishes and incredibly hospitable service. The samosas are huge, stuffed to the brim with a shell that isn't too thick yet still tasty and perfectly crisp. The lunch rice bowl was also heaping. The service was 11/10! The manager/owner was so attentive and asked for our feedback for the Del Ray bar crawl special (avocado chaat). The masala chai was super flavorful and I love how they allow the customer to adjust the sugar level. The avocado chaat was fresh and the tamarind chutney was amazing! Love going here. Best Indian restaurant in Alexandria area. Ordered Garlic nan, Tikka masala with protein and Korma with protein. Tikka masala was not good at all. Usually their tikka masala was very tasty. Korma was good as usual. I don?t know what had happened with their tikka recipe. I personally like their lunch specials better than their dinner menus. Parking on the street.
Really above and beyond place of business. I ordered 5 min before close and they took my order without hesitation! I ordered the Tikka Masala Plant based, they created a custom garlic GF namm and the food was delicious! Totally recommend this place for your Indian food cravings! They treated me very kindly here.
