Spey River Brasserie

Good, solid French bistro with a good outside space facing the main square ... full of locals rather than the usual tourist-full places on the other side of the square. Simple bistro food cooked well and served with a smile. We had a well priced dinner for two on a scorching evening ... good to be outside and finish off with an ice cream. The young man at the next table didn’t seem to mind when I kindly asked him to point his Gouloise in the opposite direction.

Been going to Saint Omer for about 4 years and decided to try a new place to eat. Glad I found this place. I expect it was much busier on previous occasions so I avoided it. Outside seating must be for around 100 without the inside. The day I came the weather was not brilliant so nobody eating outside. Inside was not crowded. Food was very good as was the cafe creme. Great value for money and not expensive. I will be going back soon.

Planned to lunch at La Phare but it was closed for refurbishment. Called in here and was pleased we did. Size of portions very generous, service quick and friendly, prices very reasonable. Just the sort of place I look for in France.

Popped into this lovely brasserie in St Omer for a spot of lunch. Good value for money and good sized portions. Friendly staff and great selection of beers. Can sit inside or out. Definitely recommend here.

A nice place to visit. Quite a busy place and just what you want for a decent night eating and drinking. Would visit again. A great service.
