Spaghetti Blues

There are some pretty brutal reviews for this restaurant here. Based on our several visits to the restaurant I can't agree. While in Alboraya for a couple of months we visited the restaurant at least 5 times, a couple of times with out-of-town visitors. Most times we had the pizza and each time it was done very well. There is a very good selection of pizza but also many other dishes to choose from. They also offer a selection of their own beers, several of which I tried and can recommend. Some reviewers complained about the service, and yes, at times it can be a bit slow, but it is because the restaurant is usually crowded and the staff are busy. No one is just sitting around doing nothing. We had no problems with the service and in fact had many enjoyable conversations with several of the employees. Most of the staff have limited English but we had no difficulty interacting with them in a very friendly manner. Despite some of the poor reviews I have no hesitation recommending the restaurant.

We came here 4 times over our vacation, as the pizzas were of the highest standard. 3 of those visits were to get take out pizzas for the family I should add. The waiters and waitresses have a limited understanding of English, but the manners and assistance was greatly appreciated by us on all of our visits, as they were all so helpful. Drinks are very good, as well as the pizzas, our favorite was the Funghi pizza by the way. Pasta dishes were good, just semi cold, but great ingredients and flavor. This place is a great place to come to grab a few cool drinks and a pizza after a day at the beach.

Spaghetti Blues must be the most unhygienic restaurant in Spain. The toilets are the filthiest I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world. The food looks ill prepared and the serving staff look more like they’ve been undertaking auditions for Murder Incorporated than waiting on tables. This is the first negative post I’ve ever submitted but I would hate any more innocent people to be put through what we endured. This one to be avoided at all costs!

Had dinner here in May it was chaotic. Food and service was worst I've ever experienced. We literally had to set up the tables ourselves, open the wine and pour drinks. Stay away.... Tasteless cold food... Flat Beer..... Do not eat here....

I read somewhere here that it is the best pizza in the city, well, I wonder where that person went in the city, I live in Valencia
