Southern Grounds

The Cali Bagel Sandwich had 1/2 avocado on it, and because I asked gluten-free, I got bread instead of a bagel. It was stated on the website that it was bread, but I missed it and expected a bagel. Sooo, only avocado and dry bread, not delicious. Other people in my party got real bagel sandwiches and grits with cheese- non-vegan food was delicious they said. So it seems that the vegan options are a token, not thoughtful willing to give the customer a pleasant experience. The Matcha tea in coconut milk was gritty, watered and tasteless. You need to train seriously how to prepare a great Matcha Latte.

Wonderful place with many vegetarian and vegan options. I had the Baja Antike Grain Bowl (Vegan), which was delicious! The food my friends got also looked amazing. We sat in their shaded outdoor terrace, which was also really nice (they also have plenty of space in the interior). Although I was there for lunch, they also have coffee, delicious looking pastries (many vegan options), and also serve breakfast. I recommend and want to go back. Note: I gave them only 4 stars because they are not a fully vegetarian or vegan restaurant. But her vegan food is 5 star quality.

Breakfast burrito and blueberry muffin (Not pictured) was good. Went back for dinner after my infusion and appointments and got the Chicken Ancient Grain Bowl with Shrimp and the Sweet Potato Steak Bowl. Very delicious, but I give it 4 stars because I didn’t get the sauce and the avocado on my bowl and was not informed of it.

First time going with my favorite companions. Food was definitely tasty . I ordered the Greek omelette w/a pancake. Their lavender latte was a lovely pairing with breakfast. The lamb was well seasoned and combined with their tzatziki, delicious. My friends had grits bowl and avocado toast, totally looked delicious

This is a very quaint and cozy spot it has indoor and outdoor seating. It has a very chill vibe type atmosphere. The food was amazing!!! I started reading it before i could take a photo. But I love this spot I got a bucket of mimosas which started my day off right
