Southern Cross Kitchen

We had the honor of hosting our 5-Year Anniversary party at Southern Cross Kitchen this month. For starters, everything was perfect! Kevin Markee made sure to accommodate for everything that we had envisioned for the night. We were first greeted by the wonderful hostess’s downstairs and directed to head upstairs. Upstairs was decorated beautifully and was the perfect size to host our party of about 50 people. The food was amazing, and staff constantly made sure to refill trays when they were getting low. The bartenders were very friendly and quick. We were even offered live music by soloist, Alex, who was amazing and really set the ambiance in the room. It was truly an awesome night, and we are very happy that we were able to support a fellow Woman Owned Business while celebrating our 5-Year Anniversary, we can’t wait to visit again in the future! I'm just gonna go on and give this place 5 stars, although I didn't enjoy the nightlife there. My servers really sold it, Brit trained Garrett, and both were very accurate. The food was also very good, well seasoned, large portions, and not overpriced. Pretty rich cocktail, liqueur and wine list. I'm not sure, but I think the shrimps and grottos had a huge Hush puppy in the middle, and I guess they used stone mill grottos. Burger was perfectly cooked and to be honest when a Steven Starr restaurant offered to get it. Only what I would change would be the great amount of burrata on fried green tomatoes.

We had a bridal shower today and I can't thank Kevin and his staff enough. They were friendly, friendly and very attentive to our needs and our guests. The dishes, drinks and atmosphere were excellent! I highly recommend SCK for a nice meal or your next event!

Really nice setting with authentic southern cuisine. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was on point! Do yourself a favor and stop by.
