Sotacel - Reservar uma mesa

Lovely experience, great customer service and delicious food! This restaurant is situated across to the beach Ocata inside of the hotel Llar de Capitans. The restaurant itself is beautiful with wall drawing representing Maresme coast and its antique furniture makes you feel very cozy. Each dish was presented amazingly with strong flavours and textures. Skill, intelligence and imagination was apparent on each plate. The wait staff was very attentive and polite. The prices are reasonable. Definitely, we will be back again.

Walking along the beaches of El Masnou, we were hungry and came across the hotel Llar de Capitans. Inside we found what appeared to be a nice restaurant. Almost full, but we managed to get a table. We went for the menu of the day. The starter and the entre were terrible. We didn't stay for the dessert. Service was bad as well. Much to our surprise every review at Tripadvisor were 5 stars. Must really have been the unlucky day for us. Worst tourist trap ever in El Masnou.

The dining room (nearly empty when we visited is lovely. The menu has interesting, imaginative dishes, which were carefully prepared. Service was attentive. Menu in English is available. Prices are reasonable and, on the wine list, remarkably low. They haven't marketed well. (We stayed at the hotel and tried to research the restaurant and discovered its name only by accident. Go before the crowd catches on.

Wonderful evening friendly staff, an interesting menu and really tasty food. The setting is also beautiful. I was staying in the hotel Llar de Capitans and struck lucky that this was the adjoining restaurant :
