Siraia - Reservar uma mesa

We stopped going to Siraia in 2014 because we felt the quality of food had deterioratedAnd the prices were and are rather high. On Sunday July 5 four of us went for an early dinner. The first wonderful thing that happened is that they opened the dining room for us at 5.15 pm. Our waitress Brianna was a real delighted and helped us with menu and wine options. She is a real keeper. The Wine she suggested a Chilean PInot Noir was to die for. She brought our drinks and bread very quickly as we had just finished playing golf on a windy afternoon. The appetizers followed I short order and all from the chicken soup to mozzarella tempura were very good. So too the entries, the rib steaks, the halibut and the steelhead trout. The view of course is spectacular. If this level of quality and service can be maintained I am certain that siraia will soon be a preferred dining destination.

Went with a friend for lunch - lovely menu with lots of choice. We opted to share an order of nachos and then perhaps opt for dessert. The nachos were absolutely excellent - very large portion with a "homemade" tasting nacho chip. The chips were then topped with a mixture of avocado, brisket, cheese, jalapenos and a very nice sauce. Made for a tasty combination. We did have dessert as well - creme brulee - also very good, although could have done without the "fake whipped cream" - perhaps a fresh berry garnish would have been better. All in all a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting.

Not that great, poor to average food and poor to average service. They charge top dollar and are cheap, no table cloths, no flowers, room is loud. Not very special for the price they charge.

We went to a birthday party here plus mothers day plus a lunch. All great. Food great; service friendly; setting lovely. Great desserts. Menu varied and interesting. Well worth the drive.
