The first impression upon entry was "Empty Restaurant"! Well there was one other couple finishing up their meal. I tried to crack a joke with the server to break the ice, but she wasn't interested. I seated myself, and she brought the menu right away. There was a photo of a delicious looking Ginger beef on the menu, so I asked if I could have it with a side of noodles. Nope, have to buy a full order of noodles, but I could opt for a combination plate of Dry Ribs, Ginger Beef, Chicken Balls and rice. Noodles instead of rice? I asked: OK, two bucks extra. Well this meal wasn't going to break the bank, so I agreed. The restaurant is bright and reasonably clean, right off the 2A, next to the Boston Pizza. There is plenty of parking, although I had walked. The tables were clean and set with a bowl of package soy sauce etc, although mine needed refilling. I was surprised that it wasn't busier, given the great location. Well that became apparent shortly. The meal came quickly (too quickly, maybe), a large serving as advertised, with the $2 noodles in the middle. The ribs were so dry and tough, that I couldn't wrestle the meat off the bone. The ginger beef was also dry and tough, although boneless, and drizzled with a bland excuse for a sauce. The chicken balls were surprisingly tender, and garnished with a pale yellow glaze that was very sweet, and no sour. The noodles were actually OK, although a little bereft of vegetables. I pushed it around my plate for a while, and then asked the server to package it up. My dog enjoyed it thouroughly once I got home. (I was able to beat the bones off with the help of a sharp knife and cutting block). The only redeeming factor was the price, about $15, including the $2 surcharge, although I would have been far better off at a food court. There is quite a bit of room for improvement here.

Not sure what the dudes rant below is talking about. He got dry ribs and thats why they were dry and hard. It's also pineapple sauce not sweet and sour on his chicken balls. Waitress might have not gotten the joke due to language barrier.ANYWAYSI love this place! The portions are huge and the price is fair. Small place but it is kept clean. Staff is very friendly. My favourite dish here is the lemon chicken and shanghai noodles, yum! Definably one of the best places to get Chinese here in Wetaskiwin!

Excellent Wor wonton soup! It's a huge amount enough for even lunch the next day. Other typical Chinese food choices as well. We have always had great service from this hard working family!

A very friendly owner/operator. Very large portions of food. Lots of choices. Eat in or take out. Excellent value for what you pay.
