Because the San Fernando Valley has a limited amount of Korean restaurants, this is one of my families go to places for hot soup. The menu on yelp or Uber eats is limited, so make sure that you actually go to the galleria food court and take a picture of the menu, then you can call mby phone and order to items such as black goat soup, soy bean soup, and other dishes we don't usually see at BCD type of tofu restaurant. The ladies who work there are also really sweet, and very understanding, so when we ask for the black rice instead of the white rice, and tell them that we don't want any of the side dishes, because we have plenty of that at home, they are really chill about it. I like that they have a seasonal menu that rotates occasionally, reminds me of my father's home cooking growing up. I highly recommend their spicy beef soup or black goat soup, if you like a spicy and flavorful umami experience, but if you're not feeling well and just want something, comforting, the seollungtang is the way to go.

I walked into the food court first to get some brunch because I was super hungry when I wake up in the morning. I asked for directions, showed a picture to this lady to show me where I can get the foodie I found on Yelp..There was a dad and daughter in front of me while I was waiting for my turn! I told the guy I was allergic go Shrimp and he gave me Snow Crab instead it was at the bottom of the boiling hot bowl...the food was sooo hot and fresh just how I like it and I ate everything just about the price was very reasonable. Wat a beautiful surprise. There was chunks of beef in the seafood tofu soup. I got Combo #3. After paying they give you this pager that vibrates when you food is ready to be picked up. If your thirsty they have water machines a bunch of them you can choose cold or hot water self serve!!!! I highly recommend this place!!!!!!

My food is always tasty and fresh. I always order the spicy beef soup because I love spicy beef soup and everyone doesn't sell it so I keep coming back. And they always put lots of beef in it unlike most other places. The portion sizes are good because I always have enough for another meal later. They have good kimchi so I always order a big kimchi to-go also. They have really good mackerel and I also like their potato salad and broccoli salad. They are people of few words but they are always nice. It's located in a food court inside of an Asian grocery store that has a good bakery inside so I can also pick up dessert. I really like this location because I can bring my friends and we can all find something we want to eat.

Soon tofu had a variety of seafood (crab, clam, shrimp, squid) and was very tasty. Spicy was not very spicy compared to other soon tofu houses and the pot was rather small. Stone pot bibimbap was also good, although not much meat. All in all, a good lunch for two at the $20 combo price.
