San Michele - Reservar uma mesa

The prices are slightly more expensive than other eateries in the area and yet it provides the service and atmosphere of a very cheap place.There was no menu for either food or drink and we were offered some poor wine which looked like it had been in the cupboard for ages. We had no idea how much we were paying until the bill came. We were offered a "special" meal of starter then veal, but when the bill came we were charged for each course so could have chosen one or the other. This was not made clear to us, although that may have been a language problem.The cheese salad starter had hardly any cheese and was smothered in what tasted like very cheap dressing which made the whole thing taste bitter. The main course was very good, though, and both courses were presented very well.We had to wait for ages to be served as the patron was having a laugh with the locals.Don't go unless you have to - ie if the other restaurants in the area are closed.

This cute little restaurant offers cold food all afternoon and warm food up until 3pm. The food we had was pasta with different vegetarian fillings. It was very tasty! Price was 24 francs per person. I recommend visiting this place!
