Salvatore's Trattoria e Ristorante

After collecting my husband from his sailing adventure, we needed to grab a bite to eat before our 3 hour drive home. We were just coming out from the yacht club and noticed this little spot and thought we'd try it. Well I'm so glad we did. What an unexpected delicious experience! No menus, they bring bread-sticks, bruschetta and garlic bread to the table along with a salad. Then tell you what is being served...we opted for half of her suggestions and were completely stuffed by the end. The food was fresh and well prepared. It was topped off by a fresh serving of tiramisu, which again we split! Overall, very friendly staff,excellent food, a wonderful experience!

This is a terrific, hole in the wall, find.You can order food ala carte, or you can dine "Trattoria style" which is when you ask the waitress to bring a variety of their dishes and you share with your companions.We chose to share and were really delighted with the variety and quality of the food.The wine list is a bit short, but offers very good value.It's a little hard to find, right under the Blue Water Bridge, but it's worth it.

A big gem in a small townThis is a tiny place and is like going to an Italian families houseYou go in and there is really no menu.
