Saigon Pho Carlton

Oh. My. Goodness!! There were 3 of us to stumble upon this restaurant who hadn't eaten since breakfast and were starving!So glad we stopped and had a quick look at the menu as we were seated inside shortly after. I don't evenremember what i ordered but it was freaking delicious. My husband and father in law both got the soft shell crab pho which was insanely delicious too. We had roti for entree which have very quickly been labelled as the best darn roti I will ever eat.Didn't take any photos cause we were too hungry, but can say you will leave here feeling very full and satisfied, repeating how delicious your meal was.

We have sat in and also had take-away from Saigon Pho. Service has been prompt and basic while the pho is honest with no frills. It is great to have the choice of various combination of beef, beef balls and other meat, while the broth is a bit salty. I guess we don't expect an authentic 8-hours-slow-cook kind of soup nowadays. Overall, good value for what you get.

We had a group of 6 come along and they seated us fine, although we did go out at 5:30pm. You probably wouldn't want a larger group coming here. It's intimate and very traditional. They specialise in Pho and it's delicious (and I'm not a Pho lover). Service - the language barrier i probably the only down side. For 6 of us, it was $100!

The most authentic Vietnamese noodle restaurant I have been in Melbourne. Fantastic service, our dish was great and very taste full. Busy restaurant but we were lucky to get a table that night. Will definitely visit more frequently.

We visited last month with friends. The service was fast and friendly. We had no problems getting a table. We ordered Pho and spring rolls, both tasty. Found it to be great value for money here. Would definitely return.
