We were sat and waited for 20 mins and were never served. Our server continued to walk pass us and provide service to the other guest. When entering the establishment our server was standing at the podium and did not bother greeting us, while the other gentlemen finished a phone order. After feeling unwelcome and not being serviced we left. Of course there were multiple employees standing at the podium when we left and again not a word was spoken as if they were happy we were leaving. The establishment is very unwelcoming to those outside of their own community. Do not bother patronizing any of their locations.

Best middle eastern restaurant in the Detroit area. We keep trying new ones and end up coming back to Sahara both oak Park and Sterling Heights. Been going there for over 20 years and not a single bad meal or service. The food is done just right, and fresh. Service is above the top. We finally gave up on trying new places that are rated higher. This place deserves a 10 star.

Attended a wedding banquet here and the food was good, but the service and the logistics of the seating arrangements could have been better. Servers at the bar seemed surprised that you wanted a drink and acted confused when you requested something specific. After everyone was seated for dinner we had to get up and change tables.

Very nice place. Great food and service. I have been many times there with a very big group and kids and everything was great and fast and anything you need they'll get it right away .. I do recommend this restaurant to others.

Loved the food except the chicken tikka was smelly and not tasted good. The service was good!
