Ruth's Chris Steak House San Diego

I’ve frequented this restaurant location for the last 7 years. We prefer it over the Del Mar location because so close to the water and view is great. Last night we did not get any view and I was very disappointed as were our dinner guest We were ushered into a small private dining room instead with really zero ambiance. Note to self and others: you go here for the food and view. Please note on your reservation you want the main dining room ONLY so you don’t experience what we did.

The food at Ruth's Chris and the food exceeded our expectations. The fillet mignon, lobster mac cheese and potato pulp were delicious. The service was also excellent. Well, we had reservations because the restaurant was packed. Very recommended to go to Ruth's Chris if you are a Steak lover.

Our dinner took two hours and my husband had to send back his entree because it was over cooked.
