Rubio's Coastal Grill

1 star for asking, Who is Brad ? Lol! I hated Rubio 's on Marconi and Fulton back in the day. It 's like a pimped up Taco Smell mixed with Chipotle. I hate Mexican chain restaurants. Maybe I was spoiled in South Texas with fast, affordable, Tex-Mex that was locally owned and much owned by the Familia . Best enchiladas with Chili Con Carne and bad ass crispy tacos!!! And No...they ARE NOT LIKE TACO BELL crispy tacos like people here in California want to compare it to. Thank you Jesus for closing down Rubio 's here in Arden (Fulton/Marconi) and being replaced with a GREAT Mexican establishment that is in the Neighborhood WalMart parking area, across the street from Trader Joe 's and sprouts. Oh, and if you want some amazing Japanese food, Nagato Sukiyaki is right next door

I've dined at this location quite a few times and everyone is ALWAYS so Friendly and the customer is consistently Excellent. My orders always correct, food hot and brought out to me. This review is long overdue and I didn't realize until tonight that I have not given them the kudos they all deserve. Both managers (one tall male with locks and other man with short hair and glasses are friendly, female cashier with braids and managers always greet me by name when I enter. And employees all seem happy and aways smiling so hats off to the managers for fostering that environment.

First time at this location and we enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The salsa bar and drinks area was clean. It was a slow night for them, and they were on it with our food and it came out quick! The seafood tasted fresh and it satisfied our cravings for it. The beans aren 't too flavorful, but it 's Rubios I 'm not expecting the authentic frijoles my mom makes at home (haha . I like that their plates comes with chips since there 's a salsa bar : It 's nice that they have Mexican beers and flavored lemonades that go well with the Baja vibes!

Just missing this place in Daly City on Tuesday Taco I ordered a Coastal Trios and everything tasted fresh. The service was all smiles and friendly. We also had steak trio tacos and a chicken burrito. They are almost closing in and sec we're able to make it something different for the week.

Lots of parking, near by target area. The restaurant has lots of seating and they do have salsa bar. The salsa is not as good as I thought. It used to be very good salsa. But so far is ok. The service is good. Will I be back? Hmmm not for the salsa.
