Royal Thai Pier

I have always wanted to visit this restaurant as we have been to Thailand many times and have taken cookery classes. The restaurant and welcome was very nice, clean, and cool, with a lovely setting. It was quiet, as expected, since we arrived quite early. The waitress who served us was okay, but did not seem very knowledgeable about gluten-free options, which is my wife's allergy. We were surprised when she said that the red Thai curry may not be gluten-free. We asked if the crackers were gluten-free, and she went to check, but never mentioned it until I asked, which was not good service as it is difficult for my wife and felt like an inconvenience. The man who served us was very friendly, which was better. The food was hot and tasty, and we really enjoyed the fresh flavors of Thai cuisine. We are considering returning for the tapas menu or just for a drink. When we left, the Thai lady was very friendly and asked how everything was, and it was nice to say thank you in Thai as it is one of the few words we know. I would recommend this restaurant, but hope that the waiting staff will return with an answer if asked about availability.

I ate dinner at Kuti's Royal Thai Pier (that's the full name) in Southampton, England on 7/20/2015 (20 July 2015) It was my 1st time there.

This has to be one of my favourite Thai restaurants The food is totally amazing and I would recommend always going for the buffet.

This was an all you can eat buffet for £15They had salads, finger food, good courses, and deserts.
