Roundhouse Deli

You must have heard from Roundhouse tri-tip tacos or you would not read this review. The tri-tip tacos are so good, they made it to eat on Yelp's American Top 100 places. They are loaded with meat, cheese, salad and tomatoes. The Texas smoker floods the grill to pull you into the deli. They work in a deli-style atmosphere; where you order from the selection on the Overhead menu, pay and pick up your order if ready. It is a small place with limited seating, but the food is excellent. It's not a great place to go because it's in a residential neighborhood. If you don't eat a bite, go to Denio's for a little more privacy. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

I went in this afternoon and had the hot pastrami with fries and the prices were solid and the food was decent with fair portions. The pastrami was over cooked wouldn?t call it burned but close they must have had five people working so no excusesfor the dirty tables the whole place is in need of a deep cleaning and some fresh paint the pictures on the wall need to berefreshed with new frames and straightened. It?s to bad to so close to the neighborhood.

Neat place. Has been around for many years and has some older photos on walls inside that show the former SP railyard (across street) in past decades. Same with photos of some railroad employees. Food is really good. Had a sandwich known as the trainwreck. Is like a Philly cheese steak, but also includes pastrami.

Wow! The meat here melts in your mouth... the tri-tip tacos and hot pastrami sandwich was undeniably delicious! Ate 6 so fast that everything was left the tray! Try this place from you will not regret it!
