"Fun, friendly atmosphere and a local arty feel. Beers are decent enough. Nice little theatre upstairs and all in all it’s just a lovely place to hang out."

Cool and creativity feeding place :: on the edge of trendy Hoxton this place is buzzing with life and diversity. I saw an amazing play tonight by an extraordinary Neil Labute fantastically performed.. I left NYC just one day before 9/11 thus the topic of The Mercy Seat was close to my heart. The play was intimate with two actors that never left the stage. Applause and still clapping me hands. Go and enjoy!

The Sunday roast was awful. It arrived cold. The beef was chewy, the potatoes cold and appeared to have been cooked a week ago. Cheapest veg used. The outside seating area was full of dogs. I felt like I had gone to eat in kennels. One dog owner with a VERY long leash allowing dog to roam around at will. Would not eat there again

Stopped here for a bite to eat Sunday lunchtime and were not disappointed! Good selection of vegetarian and couple vegan options on the menu which was great for us. Had a lovely Vegetarian Sunday Roast it was very tasty and enjoyed it sitting outside in their lovely covered space. Would recommend.

Booked for a work leaving do, there were 10 of us and have never had such good service, food really good, can thoroughly recommend the polenta fries. Thankyou Isaiah and team for giving us such a brilliant night!
