Been coming here for years. Always been a weekend favourite from Easter to October . Unfortunately this year there has been a change of management and a new menu. I'm always happy to embrace change but the new menu is pretty poor. especially when compared to what they had previously. Very limited choice for vegetarians and vegans. I ordered a house salad for €17.50 and asked if the prawns could be replaced with cheese, they took the prawns off but if I wanted cheese I would have to order a separate cheese salad for another €15.50 I understand flexibility isn't always possible but if they had some more vegetarian main course options then it wouldn't be necessary. The staff were friendly and professional but the food I did have was poor as well. the bbq cauliflower was deep fried and tasted like a jar of sauce had been poured over it. Sticky and sweet. the house salad was a bowl with a lot of spinach sweet potato orange and limited bits of pomegranate and avocado. the french fries now named Belgium fries lacked well something. Overall the new menu is expensive and limited. Will be frequenting the other chiringuitos along that area this summer as will not be going back for a second visit which is a bit sad.
This beach restaurant has just got new owners and Wow what a fantastic job they are doing. We have an apartment just behind the beach chiringuito , so it’s just on our doorstep, lucky us. The choices on the menu are great and the attention to detail with each dish is amazing, the food is great quality, they are serving what a quality restaurant would serve. I have heard people saying that it is not cheap, but believe me, it’s worth every penny to have the food they serve along with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff owners, what a breath of fresh air. We are working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed.
Second visit during our 10 night stay at Bella Vista, lunch, beautifully prepared salads, Tomato Tuna and Prawn and Avocado. Lovely clean restaurant and staff very friendly. Spent afternoon chilling on sun beds. Not cheap but when you are on holiday it’s worth it for quality
