Ristorante Del Cassarate I Calafatari

This restaurant is just hidden and if they don't tell you, you don't find it. We found ourselves here for a business dinner (about twenty people) and we were reserved a special room). We were all sitting around a very large table (difficult to serve us, but the waiters were good). Very good fish and .cena siciliana (of course our menu had been chosen by the company that hosted us)...that you would not expect in Lugano!The times of the service (but perhaps because it was difficult to serve all of us together) are slow but this allowed us a convivivial dinner, which was our purpose. Besides that of satisfying the palate. I'll be back.

It was long since I wanted to try the Syracus cuisine of the calafatari and the other night I had a pleasant surprise. everything exceeded my expectations. Exquisite food, an inebriating rosée wine and the expertise (rare, these days.) of the lady who lovingly served us made the evening very pleasant. Bravo, 10 out of 10!

The restaurant was cozy, fast service and the staff were very attentive and nice... Fresh food, the portion of pasta is good, like eating at nonna's house... Italian portion indeed! ????

ate in this restaurant that, from the sign, seemed to be the king of the sea! Instead the fish was nothing but fresh, but the taste was null. I'll be back in the best! friendly staff.
