Ristorante Bellini

Have been there a couple of times and it is always a pleasure. In the sleepy city center, you find this place hidden behind a unimpressive facade.The brick and nature stone walls welcome you with a warm coziness coming from the open kitchen. Staff is attentive, with the owner being charming but decisive with his personnel. Food is superb and reasonable priced. A bit packed is the place and you should arrange a table upfront. Since in the middle of the city center you might find it challenging once in a while to find a parking spot. However, who does not appreciate a walk after some good food.

How is the best Italian restaurant I have ever come across tucked in a small town in Bavaria ? I don't know, but you really do not want to miss a dinner here - it is the most amazing experience - my favourite dish ........spaghetti scampi - but I have eaten here 3 times in 4 months in group of 7 , 8 and 3 - we were all amazed and delighted with our food. Booking is advised as the locals know when they are on to a good thingAtmosphere is great as you are in vaulted cellars and staff really friendly and helpful - little cellars branch off and tables are scattered intimately around

A series of cosy rooms in a centuries-old building across from the town square, this Italian restaurant made me feel right at home from first entering. The service was prompt and friendly and the food simple and delicious. Not a huge selection, but everything was prepared just right. Prices are really reasonable - €52 for two including entrees and drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant and want to go back soon!
