We used Rillings bakery for our wedding cake in July 2016. We had chocolate chip-pound with butter cream food- the cake was from this world! It was so delicious and we had a lot to enjoy the following days. Besides the taste, the cake was absolutely beautiful! The Buttercream frosting was so smooth that guests ask if it was pleasant! Rillings captured the simple, elegant design beautifully. I love that Rillings makes the traditional pound cake wedding cake, while other bakers limit you to box-like cakes. As we have our tasting, we have 7 flavors to taste, plus some bonus and we met with the owner himself. Our cake came to some of the costs for other places - it was a great value and they delivered it for us on a weekend at a good distance from the bakery. We couldn't be happier with our cake or service!
I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. Our wedding cake appointment went smoothly and not only did we get to taste all the cake and frosting flavors but they sent us home with the whole box of slices! We were advised that the bakery had not made a cake yet like the one I wanted but they would be happy to do it and were excited to make it. The cake came out exactly like I wanted and I couldn't have been happier! They were spot on with the exact shades of pink I wanted and the fondant was done perfectly! All of our guests were coming up to us telling us how beautiful it was and it tasted amazing!
