Restaurant XA - Reservar uma mesa

Our meal here was one our most wonderful experiences during our remarkable 2.5 week trip to France. The restaurant is decorated with impeccable artistic taste - art deco mirrors, enchanting graphics, and romantic lighting. The chef/owner prepares beautiful curries with a French accent. My wife had lamb curry and I had seared duck which surrounded a mound of pickled cabbage. The vinaigrette seaping into the duck complimenting its richness. Staff was warm, helpful, and gracious. English is spoken. A memorable dinner - delicious and lovely. My one regret is that we didn't have more evenings to spend at this delightful restaurant and to spend more time with its enchanting owner, Martine.

XA was the first restaurant recommended by our hotel and it was a great choice. Beautiful mussels in black rice and seafood au gratin were superb selections. Great wine cosy atmosphere and personal service made for a perfect chilly night. No wonder the hotel recommends this restaurant.

While in st. Remy, try Chez Xa! It's a wonderful cafe with truly unique French dishes to try. The eggplant terrine with tomatoes purée was out of this world! Healthy and tasty. Followed by the curried veal and rice with chutney! Wonderful flavored I've not experienced elsewhere!

Xa is a remarkable restaurant - it is consciously kitsch in terms of décor which means there are interesting things everywhere. The food is excellent and the presentation and service is excellent. the wait staff speak English. Highly recommended.

Great service. Superb food. Cannot fault this restaurant. Found it by chance but will definitely return.
