Restaurant Und Biergarten Tomate

The restaurant sits next to the river Ruhr. The view of the river is beautiful, the patio is pretty cool. I order the Schnitzel cover in a mushroom (Pfifferlinge) sauce, fries and a salad, and I can honestly say that it was the best Schnitzel...I ever had. Be aware, it is a little pricier, but the amount of food is generous. It was worth it.

Short and brisk menue for all tastes. Seasonal crafted beers and the regulars abound. Sits beautifully right on the tranquil river banks and is just a whif away from the rest of the regions attractions. Needless to say its veeery romantic ;

Nice place to have a drink overlooking the Ruhr. There is a small central bar you get drinks from and then sit down and relax with a good view of the water. Not sure they still do food though.

When the sunny days come and you want beer and schnitzel then this is your place. Service quick with smile. Possible to est outside but also inside.

We had a nice dinner on the river side. Good meat, and side dishes, very friendly staff and good beer. Nice atmosphere. Advisable.
