Restaurant Schweizerhof

We were 7 friends visiting the restaurant. Two of us stayed at the hotel, the rest stayed another place. Restaurant Schweizerhof had a "eat-as-much-as-you-can" Raclette-offer. And, you could choose to have a meat plate (costs extra) besides the salad bar. After a long day of skiing, the possibility of eating as much as you want/need at a fair price was very tempting. The food was very good, and we found a decent priced Swiss Pinot Noir that matched the food perfectly.Very good service, no stress, we took the time we wanted and needed. If I were to have any critics, it was that the Raclette was not in a stand, it came in slices you grilled on the small gas grill on the table.

Nous sommes arrivés à Engelberg vers 21h15 et heureusement que le personnel était sympa avec nous car ils allaient fermer le resto! ... bon bref la fondu était bonne le service souriant la carte des vins très chère et pas justifié par rapport aux vins proposés mais la bière est très bonne

We ate at Restaurant Schweizerhof while staying in the hotel. They offer the traditional swiss cheese meals "Fondue" and "Raclette" with lots of choices. - The restaurant is beautiful, the food great and the service outstanding. We had a great time!

Fondue, Raclette und Rösti. Wer die originalen schweizer Speisekarte sucht ist hier richtig. Freundlicher Service und auch die Küche ist wirklich gut. Sonderwünsche werden gerne umgesetzt.

If you like European menus ( including beef and pork ) the hotel menu is fine. If you like Indian curries, there is an Indian restaurant next door with a good variety.
