Restaurant Salicorne

We had returned from a day in Granville and wanted an early meal - couldn't believe it when we came across this restaurant. The decor wouldn't be out of place in trendy East London, but more than that, the food was impeccable!! Tapas to start - tuna and carpaccio- fab! Mains - veal and sea bass - one of the best tasting menus ever and so unexpected in Agon Coutainville! We finished off with Mille fleurre and a strawberry tart and both decided it was the best meal we had had in 14 days travelling in France - superbe!! Must be experienced!

We were very happy with the excellent quality of the food in this restaurant. Sometimes waiters could be a tiny bit more assertive but all in all a very good experience. I had an excellent fish tartare starter and the duck ad a main, my wife had the cold potato soup and then the turbot - all really good quality. I lived my mille feuille and strawberry pudd and mu wife loved her cheese selection. All in all a very pleasant evening out - and we somehow felt 'away from Coutainville' a bit - which was nice.

Four of us ate here in July 2016 and what excellent addition Salicorne is to the food offer in Coutainville. It has a wonderful setting in a former garage in centre-ville, and owes nothing to the staid tradition of provincial French dining. It is modern, up-to-date and urban in feel, and they know his to cook.We'll be recommending to all our friends, and hope to return soon.Bravo Salicorne

Having visited this restaurant for the second time, we were again not disappointed. Excellent choice of menus, excellently prepared by the chef. We will definitely love to come again. A great newcomer in our top five list in LA Manche!

Our table of 3 people found the food to be exquisite. Dynamic, friendly service. Interesting and unusual deco. Probably expensive for the region but compared to Paris, the price was correct. Great place for a special outing
