Restaurant Le Vauquelin

the limited choice of dishes (4 admissions, 4 dishes, 4 desserts) I enjoyed a lot because it is a very inventive kitchen, which uses fresh and seasonal products with all homemade. Moreover, the card remains varied and each can find its account, and it changes regularly. The dishes are well presented, copied, and really good! the "old school" decor is very nice. only flat (one is needed) was service. the waitress was very pleasant, but in the rush; which makes that one is often forgotten and that one must demand several times before having water, bread, ice etc ... I do not hold it rigor because the restaurant was crowded (it was a Friday night of July 14) and that the waitress was alone for the whole room. we had booked a table on the terrace and when we arrived, surprise, our reservation had passed to the trap! more room on the terrace. So the waitress found a quick arranger to find us a table in the room that has quite agreed to us. To conclude it is a restaurant that I strongly recommend, because despite a service that can do better, the food is excellent, and that is the most important. Moreover the value/price ratio is very interesting. Enjoy!

This is a simple, clean place and the food is excellent and the staff polite and very efficient. It was very very busy at lunchtime but we had reserved ahead and were able to find parking very close by. Everything was good and they can adjust the menu to suit vegetarians. I especially liked the desserts. It is just a couple blocks walk from the Castle of William the Conqueror and therefore very convenient to the main tourist attraction in Falaise.

3rd visit to this restaurant and my first impression was good. good products very well cooked, the plates are well garnished and elegamly present. The coktails are delicious. service tres pro. bravo

We had dinner at this delightful restaurant. Excellent food. Good ambience. Pleasant and hip servers.
