Restaurant le Belem

If you are travelling near Le Lude / La Fleche, take the time to visit the tiny village of Sauvigne-sous-le-Lude for Plat du Jour at Le Belem restaurant. The outside is unpreposessing but the inside is charming, with a nautical theme around the three masted ship, Le Belem. We have eaten very well on visits to France but lunch today exceeded all expectations at a very reasonable price. It is adviseable to check opening times as they are open most days but not open every evening.
