"They want to be classy and have a good service. This is very very far from that. It's a masquerade. Very pricy for quality of food and presentation, trainees for service... So I'll not recommand it."

Our hotel recommended La Renardier for our group of 7 people. The food and service were fantastic. Truly a gourmet restaurant with excellent service . The attention to detail with each course was fantastic. They had a wonderful prix fix choice menu in addition to ala carte. Each dish was prepared with perfection and looked beautiful. The duck breast with a sweet sauce was perfect. The chess trolley was the best we have ever experienced. Deserts were of his quality. One of the few restaurants that had magnums of wine which was great for our group.If one is looking for gourmet meal experience at a reasonable price this is a good place to dine. This restaurant was recommended by friends. We had a lovely welcome, the dining room is delightful and would be perfect for a celebration. We had a wonderful meal, my husband had oysters which he said were very fresh and delicious, we shared a bouillabase which was first for us and was lovely. The service was first class. It was just brilliant for an evening out and would be great with friends.
My girlfriend and me came here tonight and I have to say this was one of the most amazing meals I have ever had ... the service was first class and the food was just so delicious !! We did expect good food but this was better than we could have dreamed of!! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone I know ... and so thank you so so much for giving us the most wonderful evening x
