I wish I'd checked reviews here before we chose this restaurant. We both ordered off the set tourist menu however, there was a misunderstanding. After my husband ate his starter with no signs of mine I checked the copy of the order which was on the table and realised she had written the order incorrectly. We called her over to show her and she just erputed, honestly. People at the tables next to us were sitting amazed at her behaviour. She started yelling at us and waving the paper in our faces, then she started banging plates etc down. My starter was brought and clashed down in front of me in a horrible manner. I honestly didn't have an appetite after this.We got the patron of the restaurant but the language barrier was a problem. The other diners commented too about the behaviour. The food - average, nothing exciting but as I said, I was hardly in the frame of mind to enjoy anything after this experience. This is the absolute worse service I've ever had in France in over 30 years of travelling. Avoid.

We chose this restaurant at random because of it's location close to the main square in Le Crotoy. Unusually, I hadn't checked it on here first, which was fortunate as based on recent reviews I would have avoided it and so missed out on a good lunch. The service initially wasn't the ebst I've experienced - the young man I asked if there was a table for 2 inside just shrugged and said 'c'est possible' rather than invite us in, but after that I can't complain about the standard of service from the waitress and waiter who served us.There's a good menu, plenty of seafood, as you'd expect, plus steak, burgers etc. There are a la carte starters or a buffet on some set menus. There's a good choice of wine, as you would expect, and super espresso coffees to follow..

I chose this place as it was easy to enter with a stroller. I ate alone with my baby (11 months). The service was horrible. No one helped me up the stairs with the stroller, wanted me to leave it outside (there was hardly anyone inside as it is not the busy season). Finally I asked for a table out of the way as to not bother others with the stroller and high chair. The server seemed like I asked the most complicated thing when I asked for her to reheat my baby food for 30 seconds in the microwave. Food was pretty tasteless. Not horrible but not good either. Would not go back here. Other restaurants were much more accommodating and sweet with me being alone with the baby.

We went into this restaurant intending to have lunch. We saw a waitress and asked if we could sit down at a table, she said yes without even a smile and that was it! The waitress disappeared and we just sat there. We asked a nice young man who was clearing tables if we could order but he said we had to order via the waitress who was out the back somewhere! After waiting for over half an hour we got up and left.
