Restaurant Filou

This place has a beautiful seating area outside, which is very nice when it is summery warm. However, the service was quite slow, with a not too enthusiastic serving person. That's different than we were here a year ago, but maybe good personal is difficult to find these days. The food was quite ok, and reasonably expensive, but slow and indifferent service (on a not too busy evening at the beginning of June) drew the impression down.

First a praise for the staff. If someone should read this, I would like to say that the ladies are just super nice. Especially the service is simply exemplary. The speed and kindness have brought us to be there every day. Also the lunch bowl (fish and carving) were qualitatively good and accurate. The cake tastes like a sugar cloud from Tinkerbell's genital area. I find myself a secret tip at Timmendorfer Strand!

We, ripe couples, went twice to this restaurant for dinner as we were in a hotel directly opposite. The food was pretty good, soup and main course. Competent beer and wine selection, prompt and friendly service. Too cold to sit outside, good people watch spot.

we were booked at 6 pm for the New Year's meal. I am vegetarian and my meal was absolutely great, so was the normal meal. We will come back next year
