Restaurant du Lac Vert

A welcome spot having flogged up on foot from Servoz; the less energetic can arrive by car! So far we've only had drinks & enormous slices of tarte aux myrtilles, made from the local bilberries that are found all over the mountains in the summer. Delicious! Very pleasant to potter at Lac Vert itself, just across from the chalet - a rough path goes all the way round the edge.

Until now we had only drinks huge slices of tarte aux myrtilles, from the local blueberries found in the mountains in summer.... Very pleasant to potter at Lac Vert himself, directly opposite the chalet goes a rough path around the edge.

The whole atmosphere here has improved by building a new terrace and new chairs and parasols. It feels much more beautiful and raises you to have a better look at the Massif de Mont Blanc. The staff was very friendly. The food was... pleasant if not exciting. We had salads and the children's menu was OK. We will return.
