Title says it all. Comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, but expect no fancy soaps or shampoos :)Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant is also good with a wide choice in various price ranges, also child menu's and local specialities. Just a 5 minute drive to lake Oeschinnen ski area, which is ideal for families, small ski area where it is very well possible to teach your own children.

We ate here during our stay in Kandersteg. Ate the rosti and Wiener schnitzel and both were great. Sat outside on a beautiful evening. Returned later with friends for ice cream and everyone in our party of 6 stated that the ice cream was delicious. Would recommend!

This is my daughters favourite restaurant in Kandersteg. We enjoyed 2 meals here, excellent food and really good prices. Lovely atmosphere, there is a bar area and a large dining room. The staff are very attentive, we had 2 pleasant evenings here.

Des Alps is efficient and probably has the best food in Kandersteg. The pizzas are good quality and thy can accommodate relatively big groups.
