Restaurant Chez Tante Fauvette

We found this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat in St Omer. I'm so glad that we did! It's the sort of food you dream of eating while in France. It is small but perfectly formed which means that Olivier can give a personal service; it feels as if he's cooking for friends. The choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts was just right. The portions were generous and Olivier is obviously passionate about food. I couldn't fault it. The decor was charming and quirky and we loved it.

the 3-4 tables, depending on the fit, requires almost always a reservation. Vintage decoration, with toys for children old. The chef, Olivier, serves and cooks. There is heart in its plates, the mussels in thyme and honey are to be recommended without hesitation as well as citrus soup. Children's dishes are generous. The coffee is served in the old days, no expresso. Prices are very affordable,To recommend closed eyes. Thank you for this kind of restaurant!

We're going with family and everyone's happy. good and simple not so easy. The cook server boss is present but not too much. Anyway, we're out with the banana.
