General My daughter had kindly taken me to a concert in Wuppertal (Kulturzentrum Immanuel). I liked the concert very well. But we were still hungry. There are a variety of gastro plants in the area. We spontaneously chose the Bombay from the five places to be reached on foot. We didn't want to stay long, but we wanted to eat something and talk about the music before. Ambience inside it looked as if you imagined an Indian restaurant... many mirrors have remained in my memory. Otherwise it was mostly tables for four people. There was a table runner on the bare plate. It was covered. The chairs were relatively comfortable. Like a bistro. Cleanliness Everything seemed well maintained. The toilet rooms were designed in a economical way. But everything needed was there and also clean. Service The staff was pleasantly fast and very friendly, but retaining. So they didn't talk much, but they took care. We had some questions about the spices. But we didn't want to stay long – it wasn't so early. The map(s) The map was expected to be extensively comparable to most locals I have found with Indian cuisine for local guests. A delivery service is also part of the offer. The tasting food We both chose chickens. 54. Chicken Korma (10.90 € roasted chicken fillet with almonds, cheese, cashew kernels, coconut and raisins in curry cream sauce (mild 60). Chicken Mango (10.90 with nuts in Mango Curry cream sauce (sweet sour tastes relatively similar, only once more after coconut and the other more fruity. Both plates were properly prepared. The spicing but adapted to the “German” taste – just not too sharp. The crowd was right for us. The dishes were in small metal bowls and stood on a tealight warmer. The rice was in a bowl for both of us. The meat was juicy, the rice was not too pappy. The sauces showed Curry flavors that were tamed through the cream again, but thereby creamy. Since I very much like to use the curry blends of Ingo Holland at home, I know that there are great differences in composition and therefore also sharpness (Anapurna prefers me especially . I guess here in the house was also a strong representation of turmeric for coloring. Previously there were thin, spiced bread slices and three different spreads, to which unfortunately nothing was said. The red was something with tomato, the white probably from dairy products similar to Tzaziki in sight, but thinner in consistency and otherwise seasoned. The dark tasted best for us, but we couldn't really taste what the ingredients were. Worse in any case. It reminded me of thick soy sauce, but little salty. There were only two slices of bread, which should have been much more. We like this crispy version, but also the Naan Fladen are welcome. At home I make them in the pan with some cumin occasionally. Beverages Mineral water 2,50 € Cola 3,00 € Lassi 2,50 € Price Performance Ratio The prices called were completely fine and we had expected. Conclusion I would not refuse to eat again, but it was also no revelation. When you're in the area, you don't make anything wrong when you come in there and are satisfied with tamed Indian cuisine. 3 – if it results (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise” Date of visit: 12.01.2020 – evening – 2 persons My enjoyable experiences are also included [here link]

Indian today. the card is rich, the service dragging, the communication difficult, I can't have an Indian dialect.Have dee karahi ordered, lt. card borrowed with fresh paprika, fresh swirling and rice. Anticipation. After about 20 minutes, the local was almost empty, a greeting from the kitchen. this was not yet 10 seconds on the table, came the lead. less anticipation. The duck was gum that did not peel paprika, do not make out the tear ok. after another 20 minutes the question whether everything was ok. that is still locally empty. the communication continues to be difficult, the joy on the way towards the basement. My wife wanted a snap to finish, here the waiter did not even know what to find on the map.Time to pay, also here again 10 minutes, three more tables were finally occupied in the meantime. will not come back here so soon, unless a starving in Indian gets me. but, I am not served faster in the neighboring city.Enjoying, because Indian food is actually really delicious.

I have long been looking for a good Indian restaurant in wuppertal and I am glad to have finally found one. there is a large selection of Indian dishes in different degrees of sharpness. we had a sharp curry and a rather fruity variant. both were delicious. the eservice was very pleasant and the prices were even quite favorable. we'll be back.
