"I wasn't expecting the Indian food to be particularly good, but was very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I shared two dishes and the mutton vindaloo was very tasty with a slight chilli kick, but not the overbearing heat you'd find in a British Indian restaurant. The chicken curry was much milder, but still tasty and very good quality. The view across the Lake was breathtaking and the beer selection was excellent. It was an expensive evening, but very enjoyable."

Visited this restaurant with our two kids (6/8 year old) on a beautiful sunny day. Pro: -the views from the outdoor patio is amazing -the large children play area is fantastic (kids can play, parents can enjoy peaceful time at the table) -the Indian meal items (we had two vegetarian dishes) were really good. Contra: -it took quite some time to receive our dishes. -first arrived the two kids menus, after 10 minutes our Indian dishes. -the kids spaghetti dish was only lukewarm, they were dry on top and all sticking together in a clump (not one drop of oil or butter used to keep them smooth), the tomato sauce consisted of warmed Pelati (tomato chunks out of a can) without any spice or olive oil. We mentioned this shortcoming to the waiter and told him he should inform the cook. Cooking a good tasting dish of pasta shouldn't be asking to much... even if it's only a child menu item.

This place is extremely well located with a nice terrasse by the lake. The view is stunning and this is probably the biggest plus of this place. The staff from the restaurant is friendly and makes effort to please the customers. We ordered Indian food as it’s the chef specialty and therefore had high expectations. Unfortunately, we were not very impressed by the quality. Starters and main dish are served with the same salad which is unfortunately served with an industrial balsamic dressing. The Indian sauces which come together with the dishes are also disappointing. And, if you’re going there during the Montreux Jazz festival, bands are playing live which can be a good thing but in our case, they were not playing jazz and surprisingly they came at the tables to ask for money... make sure you have coins with you...

It didn’t start well when the waiter informed me I would have to pay for tap water. As I have special dietary needs I explained precisely to the waiter what I could eat on a particular dish. I needn’t have bothered, he took absolutely no notice. It was delivered as per the menu. I complained and the dish was brought to me as requested. My dining partner tells me his meal was very bland. To add insult to injury although they didn’t charge for the water, the waiter then short changed us. Shame that this happened as they have a premier spot on the lake.

We visited this restaurant today for lunch and all had enjoyable meals. Would highly recommend the mushroom risotto! The English translations on the menu may need some work as we mistakenly ordered a pastry instead of patty. Excellent shaded setting next to the lake. Lovely kids play area indoors and out. A welcome resting point after a walk along the lakes edge. We didn't see if there was a kids menu but the side portion of chips could feed the whole table. Very generous portion sizes.
