Red Top Drive Inn

The red top doesn't have a large variety of options for breakfast but it's still super delicious. They have really delicious cubed potatoes with onions on the grill or you can ask for fries with your breakfast. The sizes are appropriate for the price you're paying. The meal was delicious with good service and I loved the diner atmosphere. We ordered a milkshake to share which just added to the diner experience. The rest of the menu is quite inclusive and looks like it has many options. Perhaps I'll have to go back for something other than breakfast. Would return and recommend for a non chain breakfast experience.

We heard that the Red Top diner was a Winnipeg institution that has been around for decades. It is a typical 60’s diner – nothing fancy. The food was fantastic. It is family run. My husband and I had burgers and fries which were very good. The coleslaw was awesome. I could have just eaten coleslaw. It reminded me of the Coleslaw my grandma used to make. Three guys next to us had the 6 pattie burger which filled their plates. I was disappointed that the onion rings were not fresh but frozen. I appreciated the fact that the waitress told me this before I ordered them. We will be back.

Another go to place for me, long time established sit down spot for lunch, you can try anything on the menu, you won't be disappointed, service is fast & friendly, parking is tight & angled, but usually there is a spot or 2, busy place to go early...

Wow this place certainly didn't disappoint! If you like burgers, fries and milkshakes this is the place to go. Prices are really reasonable and food is homemade. Yum!

The service was very good and the food was excellent. They have the best gyros and burgers - extra large!
