Red Pepper Taqueria Brookhaven

This place is fantastic if you know what to order. This applies both to food and drinks. The nachos are fabulous I usually get them with steak, which is tasteful and surprisingly good quality. Note that there is an inequality in meat quality between the Happy Hour version and the full price version. The chicken taquitos are also delicious. These 2 items are my go tos because the parts here are HUGE. Admittedly, I never made it from the appetizer category of the menu! I'll say this place plays AWESOME music. It is a really nice mix of salsa, bachata, reggaeton, etc. It'll let your feet knock. The bar is basically a huge place, so plan to order a reserve drink in advance during the busy times when bar service can be a bit slow. On the flip side, the bartenders are super nice. I come in every month or two, and they still manage to see my face. Half the restaurant is inside and the outside is called garage doors that roll up. So, technically, half the bar is inside and half is outside. The Brookhaven site also shows all UFC fights. I haven't visited any of them here, but I went past the events at night and it's usually packed. It is a solid way to itch a Mexican food scratch or if you are a fan of Tequila, especially if you are looking for a happy hour hangout.

Had taken the photos of Calamari before we crushed it, but it was really goodm sauce was sharp. The Nachos Ole w Chicken ordered. Also ate the whole order and thin margarita

Great service and they have a Sunday brunch with a DJ (DJ Tron) and groundless Mimosas so sure to come and enjoy the atmosphere.

Drinks and food are delicious! One of my favorite restaurants. That's the salmon.
