"The restaurant offers typical regional dishes (capuns, maluns, bizochels), as well as innovative cuisine and weekly specials. My pumpkin biizochels were very good and portions quite generous, the service was friendly, and the prices appropriate."

I went to this hotel last week just for one night (thank God). They gave us a room on the first floor, which was a very bad idea because the restaurant is right underneath. So we weren't able to sleep before 11 pm, because of the music. It wasn't that loud in the restaurant, but in the room it felt like there was a disco right underneath. I guess the isolation isn't that good. Otherwise, the room was ok. Nevertheless, the door of the shower was too small, so half of the floor was wet. I don't know why they put sort of high-tec lights, you could choose the colour of the lights in the bathroom. But I found it totally useless and it still was too dark in there, so I had to do my makeup in another room. We took breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. I must say that the service was a catastrophe. One person out of three had a plate to eat. And every time we needed something we had to look for or call someone and they were absolutely not friendly. They only had white bread and the butter seemed to be old (dark yellow). I wouldn't advise this hotel, the price is way too high for what we get.

Awful food, awful service and no friendliness or atmosphere. Not only did the waitress spill the wine over the table cloth missing the glass she didnt even offer to refill the decanter. In other words we had to pay for the spilt wine. She then came back to clear up the plates and dropped the empty plate with knive and fork on my son. Luckily the knife wasnt sharp. Service is terrible and the food is like other reviewers said dreaful. Other diners were also looking around at us grimacing at their food and the calamity of service. Again, no owner in sight and the girls serving were all out of their depth not knowing what to do or who to attend to but taking refuge in the kitchen away from diners. a waste of time and money

Small restaurant offering local and Thai food, always to a good standard. Fresh ingredients and menu tailored to what is seasonally available. The 'Wild ' menu in the Autumn is particularly good. Staff always friendly and attentive and the children especially like the make your own ice-cream sundae, where they can tick off their own toppings, sauces, sweets and ice-cream flavour. Always a nice end to the day after a days hiking. Good location in the middle of Ilanz if your are passing through. Only downside is that their balcony overlooks the car park, which is not that scenic. But if the company is good, that doesn 't matter! Also its open all year round, which in the mountains is a rare thing indeed!

We were VERY happy to find this hotel (booked sight unseen) at a good stopping point on our cycle tour! The room was very modern and large! Top floor (as requested) and well worth cost. They offer a meal plan that includes dinner and breakfast and the total for the meal plan for two people was 60$! That's the best pricing we have seen in all of Switzerland! The owner and staff (all ladies) were very nice and helpful too! It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover!
