My son and I stopped here after a 4H event. What a great place. It is family operated. Everyone is friendly and likes John Wayne. It is clean. Plenty of food served. We got BBQ stuffed potatoes. We recieved a good sized potato and good amount of chopped brisket. Sour cream and butter is served in individual packets so you can add how much you like. Bbq sauce is also on the side. The brisket had a good, hearty flavor. The bbq sauce was just sweet enough. Sweetand unsweet ice tea was abundant. My son is 15 and can eat plenty. We both left full and very satisfied with the experience. Stop by if you are in the area.

Can I give this place 10 stars? Wow. This is one of those places you eat until it gets sick because it is so good. I'll be sure to stop for the next time I come through Stevensville Texas. Thanks for the great food and a good environment. Very friendly staff and very clean restaurant many smiling faces

The bean bowl and the cornbread salad are my favorites. I wish I could order something else, but these two things are excellent!
