Punthai Restaurant

We were walking to a small eating spot we like on Prospect Road Prospect, and passed the PunThai on the way. The place we were headed to was full so we decided to go back and try it instead. What a delight.For starters we shared Por Pai Tord and Pla Muk Gratiam Prik Tai or minced prawn patties with plum sauce and battered pepper squid with garlic and sweet chillie sauce. Both were great selections. For mains we shared Lemon Grass Lamb and Pork Fillet with ginger and onion plus a bowl of steamed jasmine rice. Simply fabulous. We finished off with mango and sticky rice and mango in sago pudding.Needless to say we over ate but the food was so good we could not stop.All accompanied with a bottle of Shaw and Smith Sauvignon BlancAll a real treat at a moderate price and discovered by chance.We will return.

Pun Thai is a nice little restaurant, suitable for an enjoyable, traditional Thai meal. The food is well priced and there's a lot on the menu to choose from. The food is delicious, especially the Pad Thai and the waiters are friendly. It's also a good place for takeaway and they offer very good and quick service.

Good selection of food and reasonable wine list. Enjoyed all the courses. Pork money bags, bamboo chicken for entree. Massaman lamb for main with pineapple fried rice and roti bread. A little over $100 with drinks for three of us. Will be back.

This place is amazing! Great staff, excellent food! I wish I could come back her e someday with my friends and family! Trust me its really good

Excellent food lovely people. One of my favorite restaurants in Adelaide. I had a wondeful time with my friends.
