Ill start off saying our food was delicious and the drinks were good and strong enough, while not being great. Getting there was a little bit of an ordeal. We went there for brunch yesterday on a Sun morning at 10:30. Very few people there and we were alone on the patio. We were visiting with my wife 's mother, so we were getting a couple drinks with our brunch. Hi, I 'd like a Godfather please... Ok, I 'll be right back with your drinks. Heads inside. Returns .... I 'm sorry sir, the bartender doesn 't have one of the ingredients, so he can 't do the godfather right now. Ok, Ill have a Duke of Bishop please. Returns.... I 'm so sorry sir, he is missing one of the ingredients for that as well, so can 't make a Duke of Bishop. Ok, I 'll have an Irish Good morning please. Returns yet again.... I 'm sorry he doesn 't have the Jameson to make that right now. But he can make an Irish Coffee... ok, Ill have that I guess....best to just tell me what you do have rather than make me guess and get denied for a 4th time. Would you like to place your food order? Yes, I 'd like Crab Cake Benedict. Oh, I 'm so sorry, I know the menu you 're holding in your hand has crab cakes benedict on it, but you can 't have that either. how about my wife and I share an omelet and an order of crepes. Oh I 'm so sorry we don 't have crepes either. after the 2nd or 3rd drink denial, I 'm feeling like I 'm in the Twilight Zone and if not for the fact that my 79 year old mother in law was with us, I would 've absolutely walked out and never come back. but literally 5 different menu items that I tried to order and I get told I can 't have them??? why am I here then?? Just start off with we don 't have any of these things you 'd like to order.... make me order 5 different times and then get told I can 't have them?? This place is rather local for us and I love supporting local businesses, but this one needs to straighten out a few things before we come back. Did a manager come out to apologize or say even a word to us ??? Nope Anything on the bill comped for making me feel like an idiot ordering 5 different items only to get told no! ??????? I felt awful for our server....she was really sweet and pleasant and you could tell she was super embarrassed...and she was left on her own to be embarrassed on behalf of poor management. But management???? Was there one there? That was a clear lack of concern for previous repeat customers and lack of leadership just leaving the poor server out there on her own. Might have been our last time there.
Looking for somewhere fresh to dine last night and came across Pub 32 on Yelp. Glad we stopped in and tried the food and drinks. 1st I would like to give a shout out to our server Lauren. We have never felt so welcome in an established before. This girl knows her stuff. From the food to wine and beer selection she was spot on. The food.... With Shepherds pie on the menu I always have to give it a try, and we were both happy with that selection. One of the best we have had. Wine suggested was paired perfectly. I am a Nitrogen beer lover so having 2 on tap was a nice surprise. Ambiance, place was packed so expected crowd noise. Have a vocalist and volume was just right. Enjoy the evening and will definitely come back on a regular basis. Thanks Lauren.
Weekends here are super fun with live music. Jill is THE BEST and we have started coming here every couple of weeks because of her. We have added Friday nights into our Pub 32 visits because she is behind the bar and absolutely killing it. Overall great vibes, great service, food is usually decent 5 stars for Jill and service, 4 stars for food.
