Ponsoda - Reservar uma mesa

Set high up on the mountain road from Benidorm to Guadalest the restaurant has a fine wide terrace with superb views over the oplin and down to the sea and Altea bay. Shaded area and protected from the upwinds by a sliding glass barrier this is a great place for a cool meal when it gets hot on the coast, at lunchtime or in the late balmy summer evenings. Family run for many years it continues to maintain its quality and reception, and I am happy to keep coming back. You can be sure of a friendly reception. Salads, paellas, grilled meat, especially chicken and rabbit, and of course its famous grilled chicken livers, as starters or main course. Easy parking and excellent value. Private room available for large groups (by arrangement)

A friend recommended the restaurant Ponsoda and boy are we glad they did! Today was a sweltering hot day but the open terrace at the Ponsoda, not only gave an amazing view, whilst eating, but a lovely cool breeze making dining a delight. If you want an authentic Spanish menu with polite service and amazing food this restaurant is a must. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Not been out to Spain for three years, this is one of our favourite places to eat, was a lovely sunny day and ate outside, food is still as good as ever. And as always lovely service with a smile and helpful guy. Cant wait for next visit.

Stopped off on the way down from Guadalest. Looked like it might have been closed as we approached but was just quiet but we were early. Simple menu if the day, was all freshly cooked and very tasty. Would definitely go again

Fabulous lunch, lovely service, wonderful views and very good value. Grilled fish was excellently cooked. The freshly made aioli with the hot bread was delicious
