Plus Ultra - Reservar uma mesa

I was in the sercotel, next to the plus ultra. I had to stay ten days in town to deal with a medical emergency with an older friend. I found this place at the first night and not. needed an apology to visit every other day! If you want to fluctuate and swedish, don't go here. on the other hand, if they want to feel that they experience the real people of salamanca, then they could not find better. the place has a atmosphere of days past, but it was always happy crowded with customers of all age groups. the palette of the tapas was extensive and always tasty and the prices were ridiculously cheap. especially the personal was always friendly with a cheerful wave and a shake of the hand. I have met some of them so well that they have started to introduce myself to the family members! I have already decided to return to the beautiful city in the next mai when I will certainly renew my acquaintance with this wonderful, friendly bar. thanks!

it is old-fashioned, without vintage. the decoration sends us back to the early seventies when most customers were in their twenties. plus ultra is one of the rare places in salamanca where they have to pay for the tapas (traditional, in salamanca is the first tapa included in the price of weins or bees) and compared to other bars it is relatiw expensive. but they have survived for decades. it is easy to understand why. the wee are good, the beer is well served, the tapas (all of them, very traditional) are of excellent quality. it is more a place for locals of a certain age than for tourist. except of course, for those interested in the discovery of the remains of a long disappeared salamanca.

Fue el primer lugar donde paramos y la primera impresión fue buena pero mejoró en cuanto vimos los pinchos que había en las vitrinas. Creo que es un lugar donde van los residentes de Salamanca. Cuenta con variedad de pinchos fríos, fritos, tablas y panes. Sí os gusta la anchoa, tenéis que pedir la tosta de anchoas BUENÍSIMA! Nosotros hemos ido todos los días a comernos una. Recomendado cien por cien.

the gambas fritas and the pimiento fritas are fantastic. freshly cooked and served with a cool glass white wine, a cheap and delicious tasty.
