Plain Kate's Riverside Saloon

Mixed review. I did it when we traveled with our dog. Pizza was in the very good category, especially the crust. House salad, Mmm not so good. It literally felt like a head of mixed greens and that's it. Oh, there were a few slices of avocado and 4 pieces of mandarin orange, but that's it. No tomatoes, onions, cookies, celery, pepper anything else that could have made a kind of salad. Even another article would have been fine. The call in a sales order was fine, but the guy was hanged before he got my name. Place like dead when I arrived. I'll skip it next time. The small city market had more items and was cheaper.

This is a unique little restaurant. The dining room is big and open with many murals of the local area painted on the walls. It's all table seating and there is a large bar at the back of the room. We came here for dinner after a day snowmobiling. The service was good, the food was good and they were able to handle our large group of 8 without any issues. The menu is diverse and has lots of choices. Half of our group got pizza and the other half entrees. Everyone was happy with their choices.

Food was delicious! Drinks were good! The waiter was excellent as well as the owner, very friendly people! Not a bad thing to say about this place. Duck tacos are a must try as well as the surf turf, and pork ribs! My boyfriend and I will most definitely be back in the future!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Especially the baby that makes jazz. The food was perfect?. Pizza was worth the money, and then some. What you can't say often. The Pommes were just as good. If possible, I would rate it 10 out of 5. Very recommended.

My salad was awesome. We ordered daily special dish tacos, which was also very good. The vegetables pizza my daughter ordered was done perfectly. We enjoyed our dinner.
