Pizzeria Novita

It's a good restaurant as far as Italian specialities are concerned. It lies in the centre of the city, in a marvellous square, not far from the churches of St. Pierre, St. Sauveur and the Caen Castle. Inside the atmosphere is rather pleasant. The decor is modern but very nice and peculiar and the music isn't disturbing. The personnel is helpful and effective but not very kind. The food is very good. I ordered a dish of vegetarian pasta and it was very tasty. I enjoyed it very much. I felt like having also a small salad but they told me that I couldn't: I had to choose a salad among those listed on the menu or I had no salad, and that no half a portion could be served. The salads appearing on the menu are too big. Since the pasta and a big salad for dinner was too much food for me, I was left wanting. At any rate, inasmuch as the food is not bad, and the prices are not too high, the restaurant concerned is, in my opinion, a good place to eat.

Based on the reviews, we must admit, that our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. Some if the best pizzas we have ever had! Reasonable prices as well, makes this highly recommendable.

Very nice! Good quality, fresh ingredients, nice prices. Friendly service. Nice location. Inside okay, nice terrace too.

The lasagna was not hot and the pizza crust needed a couple minutes more The service was very good.
