Pizzeria La Pergola

The food is fine. Nothing special but definitely ok. However the service is not very nice. With only half a restaurant filled you will have to seat at a table where already strange people are dining. Even after our request to sit somewhere else to have some privacy, the answer was that every other table was reserved. After our entrance some more people arrived without any reservation. Some of them (swiss guests?) were offered a private table, other guests had to join other people at the same table. When we left there were still a lot of tables available. So there was no need to put us or any other tourist at a shared table. Very strange and not necessary at all.

We have been eating there since years. We organize our X-Mas dinner there. It can't get better for the reasonable price. Don't expect to find a seat. You will need a reservation when you come with more than two people. Any day in the week for lunch or dinner! Very polite. As it is nearly allways full and food is prepared fresh it may take a while. This is not fastfood... Lunch specials are fast enough for me.

We were there with a crowd of friends for lunch (sunday during Albani Fest). Every one found something on their special card or à la card. Friendly service and our special wishes were fulfilled. The price range for Italian Food is normal for Switzerland.

Numerous options and very good food, not only pizza. It is a very friendly place and the service is prima. Even with a lot of work they find a way to make funny things with the costumers. Very positive energy.

Huge choice of different type of foods. I like their Pizza very much. The service is excellent - they havea good sense if humor :-)
